However, few days back they revealed things were not looking too good as Apple may have fixed most of the exploits that they had discovered in iOS 5 beta. They instead released a tool called C-Dev Reporter, which enables iOS device users to send device crash reports to Chronic Dev team that could be helpful in finding new vulnerability in iOS. If you're eagerly waiting for an untethered jailbreak then we finally have some good news, iOS Hacker - pod2G, who has been a member of the Chronic Dev team has just tweeted a link to a YouTube video to demo the iOS 5 untethered jailbreak: :-) iOS 5.0 untethered jailbreak demo www.youtube.com/embed/kp_Mz6rs9fc" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen> It is not clear if the C-Dev Reporter tool helped the Chronic Dev team to develop the jailbreak for iOS 5, but the good news it is an untethered jailbreak. pod2g hasn't provided any ETA on when the tool to jailbreak iOS 5 (untethered) will be released to the public. pod2G also hasn't revealed if it will support iPad 2 and iPhone 4S, but we hope it does. Update 1: It looks like pod2g has removed the video, hopefully he will sort out the issue soon. Update 2: pod2g has just tweeted that he is uploading a new version without the music, which was causing the copyright related error message. Update 3: We have updated the post with the demo video of iOS 5 untethered jailbreak. Update 4: pod2g had demoed the untethered jailbreak on an iPod touch running iOS 5.0. He has tweeted that he will test it on iOS 5.0.1 shortly. However, he doesn't have an iPhone 4S or iPad 2 to test the jailbreak. So we may have to wait a little longer to find out. Update 5: pod2g has confirmed that it will work with iOS 5.0.1

Yes, I know that I am a traitor.. Well, at least that's what i have been called by everyone so i guess its true.. The deal is that i have been an Android Fan for over 4 years now, and I'm just bored to death and somewhat annoyed with android these days..:broken_heart: The Iphone just seems much simpler and elegant and smooth with none of the goofy android hang ups like force closes and heating up battery and lets not even get started on the horrific battery life that plagues android through all eternity... I still have the freedom i had before since my device is jail broken and I really cannot see myself going back to android anytime soon... This is just the way it has to be.. :eek:

yeah, so ever since the BlackMarket ( blapkmarket ) went down the last time, I decided to start my own database/repository of my own FOUND ->HERE so that if/when the blapkmarket goes down again, I can have a backup of the goodies that it offers.. If your not an android user, then this would obviously have no bearing in your life, but you can still appreciate the concept behind this idea... I have a good friend of mine, Michael who I have given administration rights to continually update the site and add new apps and he has not yet slacked on me yet... I just don't really have the time and energy it takes to grow the database like he can and so he is faithfully off and running and reporting in as to how much we have nearly every day... :2thumb: At any rate, thats basically whats going on these days other than the painful fact that I am needing to learn object Oriented Programming :sick: now along with Java for a project that I'll be working on with a good buddy of mine Tony Dopun so if you can help me understand these new concepts faster, that would be huge.. I mean, look .... If you insist on using the crappiest browser ever known to man, then at least considcer this.... There is a google chrome extention called I.E tab -->HERE that allows you to still view everything as though you were using the Internet Explorer browser but yet your still using the best browser....

Ok, my good buddy Jesse Thompson recently introduced me to this amazing and yet obscure band called Jack's Mannequin and I've gotta tell ya that they are quite uniqe in some respects. Ok, so a few weeks ago, I was one step away from getting my new Phone -->HTC Nexus One but I just had to sell my G1 which I now refer to as the GAY 1.. haha :laughing: I took some pics of it and got er all posted on Craigslist and BAM, just like that, I started getting texts like mad with people asking if i still had the G1 and I was getting pretty excited about it but the very first person agreed to meet me at the mall so I told all the other people to hold off in case the very first contact flaked on me... This guy sounded really young and to be honest with you, also sorta dumb. I'm not sure how I can explain it any other way. Just not all that bright because of the questions he was asking. At any rate, I had a buddy of mine (Josh) go with me cuz we were meeting this guy at 4:00pm after work. Well, the first thing that he did was call and say he just got home and was getting a ride over to the mall to meet us , so he was gonna be 20 minutes late and since Josh and I had to pay a bill over at OnPoint Credit Union, that was totally cool. We took care of our business and went back to wait expecting him at any time. Well, since he was not showing up, I call him again, and this time he says that he is on the way, but the traffic is just really bad and he pleads with us to just hang tight. Well, Josh has quite a number of things to do that day but he agrees to hang out with me and wait and so we continue.. This goes on like 2 more times until he finally arrives at 5:20pm and Josh and I are pretty hot and bothered by this point. Well, this guy who I thought to be kinda dumb turned out to be 3 X worse that I could have ever imagined. He first tells me that I could keep one of my wall chargers that I was selling with the phone because he is $7.00 short from the $100.00 that I was asking, but come on now folks.. What on earth am I gonna do with a wall charger for a phone that I would no longer have?????? Then he proceeds to take the phone an attempt to place his sim card in it to make sure it works. Totally understandable except for the fact that as you all probably know, smart phones dont work without the data plan being set up by your service provider. I began to explain this all to him thinking that he should already know this, but as soon as I said the word "DATA PLAN", he started freaking out and saying INTERNET? INTERNET? over and over.... I said..."YEAH, all smart phones have to have a data plan that allows you to send and receive data over the internet from your phone. He continued to freak out for like another minute because he had no idea that he would have to pay a monthly fee for a smart phone. WHAT? ARE YOU KIDDING ME?? He finally placed the phone back in my hand and walked away.

OK, STOP FOR A MINUTE AND LETS REVIEW WHAT HAS HAPPENED UP TO THIS POINT......

1. I have had in the last 24 hours prior to this point 6 people saying that they would buy my phone and meet me just about anywhere to buy it and being the nice guy who is a man of my word, I kept my promise to not sell it to somebody else because the guy contacted me first and said he would be good for the money.. HE WASNT GOOD FOR THE MONEY NOW WAS HE!!!!!!!!!!!! 2. This homo wasted nearly an 90 minutes of our valuable time being late and making excuses for why he was so utterly late.. 3. Most importantly, he came to the table unprepared and without basic understanding and friggin reneged on the deal leaving me high and dry.. I did contact the most recent and previous caller and ended up selling it that very night, but this is not the point.. In the real world, you don't get far at all acting this way and this is the perfect example of that.. Man, was I ever MAD MAD MAD :blowup: Its all been forgotten now that the Nexus One has arrived on the scene, but can you possibly feel my pain?????

So ever since I reformatted my drives, I never bothered to re setup another Apache Server on my local machine here at home, so after being lazy for such a long period of time, I decided to get er back up and running. This may sound easy and usually it is, but some some annoying reason, I ran into error after annoying error and if I couldn't get Apache Running, I could not get php installed either so fooey on that I thought. After like an hour of being irritated about it, I stumbled onto a forum where these guys were talking about an amazing developers project called -->XAMPP that is supposed to get your Apache Running as well as PhpMyadmin , Perl, and MySql all at the same time. I figured there is no way it could be that easy, but I would give it a try all the same. Man oh man, was it ever easy. I didn't even actually install anything. I just extracted the files into a directory and it ran the start up for me and I was off and running. I'm pretty stoked actually cuz I can now run the MySql and PhpMyAdmin right from my localhost so I can back up all my stuff and work on it without having to be on the server for wingheart3.com or any other server for that matter. Pretty cool stuff for sure..

Yep, so quite a few of my friends have been raving about this show called Dexter that airs on Showtime I believe it is, and after so much prodding by so many, I decided to check it out, and it turns out they were totally right about this show. Its a spectacular show for so many reasons none of which compare to the disturbing yet likable character of Dexter himself. Ok, so I was browsing around the other day on Android Forums when i stumbled upon a post where this guy was talking about a very cool way you can get access to your personal PC or MAC media from anywhere with great ease so naturally my ears perked up as I continued to read on. Well, as it would turn out, he was right. There is this website --> http://orb.com/ that allows you to simply add directories from your hard drive or your entire ITunes Library and once it updates, you simply log in with the log in and password that you set up when you first download the executable file to set up the program, and then your good to go.. You can literally get access to your entire music/video/movies/Photos collection from orb.com and stream it or download it... Whats really great is it works with most cell phones as long as you have a full or semi full html browser on your phone. An actual app is not necessary and I have turned quite a few of my friends onto this because of the utter convenience that it gives. Just knowing that you don't have to worry about filling up your SD card or whatever your particular phone uses for data storage is so cool. You all must check this out immediately. Yeah, so I am not sure that I have ever actually had Domino's Pizza, but I have heard non stop about the horror of their food and how it just seems to taste like human feet if thats at all possible. Ok, so after being scared forever to brick my phone, i finally just took the big leap into the unknown and rooted my phone. For those of you who dont know what this means, allow me to give a quick explanation. On your computer, most all yall have a C drive and My Computer would be considered the root while the C drive is the next layer/step inside and then Program Files and so on.... Well, android phones work similar to this so when its not rooted you only have access to the SD card. As a super user/rooted user, you have absolute control over every aspect of your phone which means you flash different builds/roms so you can run the HTC Hero or the platform for the motorola cliq or cyanogenmods. One of the greatest things though is how much insanely faster the phone runs. There is no lag whatsoever and its utterly responsive. Door is wide open folks. So, the wife just happened to mention the other day that on all the radio stations that she listens to for Christmas Music, the Little Drummer boy is the most overplayed song and it doesn't matter who the artist singing it is... I thought that was kinda odd cuz I really hadn't noticed and now I wish she had never said anything about it because she was so very right. I have never really been a big fan of Christmas Music to begin with, but I am telling you right now, if I hear that stupid song one more time, I am going to scream right along with that stupid Feliz Navidad song.... It's Android's first credible challenge to the iPhone. The reason why the iPhone 3GS ranked in at number 4, well to put it simply, was the lack of new features. Take the iPhone. Make it faster. There, you're done. Yes, the 3GS has a better camera -- with video. And it has a compass and voice control. Those are all improvements over the original.

So there you have it folks, in the past the iPhone and awards have gone hand and hand. As it stands now, the iPhone is no longer an award winner. Hopefully that all changes come this June/July. What do you think? Should the Droid have gotten the nod?

Yes, so I finally had the appointment with the Neurologist on Monday and got some solid answers to if this this continual pain and numbness in the right hand was actually carpal tunnel. After some crazy electrical impulse testing that was really interesting by the way, it has been confirmed that it is definitely a moderate to severe case of the carpal tunnel syndrome. I know I should be really upset but I am actually relieved because I now know what it is instead of just guessing or grasping at straws for the right answer. The Neurologist said that if I doesn't dramatically improve in the very near future, he does suggest the surgery and seeing how I always do the same thing at work every day, what do you think???? Will it possibly get better?? Ding Ding Ding, we have a winner folks. Thats right. NOT!!!! haha.. I shall return and it better be before I only have the use of one hand while the other one heals up. haha :laughing:

Ok, so it all started last week when my fingers in my right hand kept going numb. I really didn't know what was going on and just hoped it would go away, but by the weekend, my whole arm and wrist were in weird state of numbness and loss of sensation to the point where I couldn't sleep at night. I have been doing some research and as I have described my symptoms to some friends, a general consensus seems to suggest carpal tunnel which is actually common for the type of work that we do. I may have to have surgery to repair this, but if that's what it takes take away this pain and sleepless nights, I'll take it. :wink: Well that's it for now. I will keep you updated after doctors appointment...

Ok, so I have got 2 friends of mine who are boyfriend and girlfriend and I don't want you to misunderstand me. I love them to death, but they are the laziest nonmotivated people you have ever met. Heck, I could even mention their names here simply cuz I know they will never come here to see this entry and it would all be good but anyways. For the last couple months they have been teaching my boys class on Sunday mornings but lately they have not seemed to be able to get it together to save their life. Last week he was not there for some reason so instead of her just picking up the reigns to get er done, she just bailed on all the kids. Ouchy..... strike 1. Then, this week, she did actually come with her lesson plans, but got there a little late and didn't prepare to a great enough degree, so she just decided to bag the whole thing and just let the kids play and fill them full of cookies. Strike 2... Needless to say, my wife has not been happy about it at all cuz my boys love to learn things and not just play around and they have no problem telling us that their teachers aren't really doing anything. Haha. I think that's kinda funny. I just hope they can get it together cuz there are others who are willing to do a better job for sure. Would this situation at all bother any of you?

Wow, I almost screamed with elated joy this morning as I was coming to work. The speed limit between Hwy 213 Sharis and the freeway finally returned to 55mph from being 45 for an eternity. I ususally go 5 mph over the speed limit anyway, but the previous speed was more painful than I can beginto even possibly explain. It was like this huge driving speed weight was removed and I could fly again. Aaaaaah, dat fo sho feeeeeel good.

Ok, so recently my wife who watches one of neighbors kids was dropping him off at soccer practice when all of the sudden, an old lady happened to notice Jory my youngest boy. She thought he was so cute so without even asking, she went over and gave him a hug. Now, this lady seemed very nice, but how on earth was my wife supposed to know that for sure ...... and besides, she had no idea who this old lady even was. The hug ended ubruptly and that was that, but it did seem sort of odd to put it mildy. What would you do in a situation like that???

Yeah, so I went to chat with a buddy of mine Cody who has the iphone 3GS and since he has jail broken his, he is now playing NES and SNES games on it now. Yeah, that's nintnedo and super nintendo games for those who didn't know what that meant. I thought that was actually pretty cool, so I immediately looked up nes and snes emulators for the G1 and found emulators for both. Very cool indeed. At first I was confused where to find games, but billy graciously explained that roms should run the same for ,most emulators. I placed several roms on my SD card and whala..... I was good to go. Some of the games are a tad choppy, but most are pretty coool. My favorite game of all time for the NES is a game called Faxanadu. Yes, I know its only 8 bit and graphics are pretty lame, but the game is so Adventurous and good at holding your interest, it totally makes up for it. If your phones out there can run emulators, check it out. :big_grin: K, go one and all and have Nes, Snes adventure

I was totally sick of getting new protective screens for my ipod video and my Android G1, so I finally took the advice of a friend and got the invisible shield screen protector that is good for all electronic devices. Fake iPods run a Muck

This one your gonna just love. Last week my neighbor came and knocked on my door asking me to help him Set up his buddys 16 gig nano Ipods. I walked on over and immediately noticed that they were trying to use some random player to get music on them and as you all know, ipods don't work that way, so away we went to download itunes. After we got that set up, I proceeded to plug in the ipod and noticed right away that itunes wouldn't recognize the new device even though windows did. I thought this was rather odd indeed so I plugged my Ipod Classic Video in and the Itunes had no problem finding mine, so after trial and erroe with no luck, a crazy thought entered my head. What if these Ipods were fakes?? Afterall, the interface was completely different than anything I had ever seen for Ipods and the round wheel scroller didn't barely work at all. Well, after about 10 seconds of research on google, tons of youtube videos that showed these exact ipods proved that they indeed were total fakes. I could barely believe it. Its funny even though its totally sad. ...

This just has to be fake...

Ok, first off you can all stop laughing cuz I finally got my phone back. Not the actual one that was stolen but a brand new one off of craigslist. Once I got it up and running, everything seemed to be fine, but things quickly started to be disastrous to say the least.. The version (firmware 1.0 ) that was on the phone was when the phone first came out which is not a big deal except for the fact that this version didnt have the ability to search for ota ( over the air ) updates which made it a huge deal. You see, many of the current features that make this phone rock were not there when the phone first came out and without the ability to receive updates,... well, lets just say... NOT GOOD!!!! At this point, I called Tmobile and they said that I should be getting the updates in 72 hours which didnt really make sense because of the outdated version that was on the phone. Well, after just 48 hours, I knew they were not going to come. How did I know this you ask? I just did if that makes any sense... There is an option to update your phone manually with the 46.2 meg file by copying it to the root of your SD card and unpackaging the update.zip file, but there are tons of warnings online that say that you can end up turning your phone into a paper weight if you dont know what you are doing.. I just hear all of the snide remarks right now at this point. Yeah, Tony... turn back now... You dont know what your doing... Yeah Yeah, blah blah.... Moving on.... I started looking for the Android Cupcake 1.5 update which is just the code name that google uses for their google phone. Finding it online was not the problem. After going through like 30 links that all pointed to the same file --> HERE that for some reason didn't exist, I began really getting annoyed.. I ended up calling Tmobile again at this point to see what was up and the guy who I talked to said that he couldnt find the file that was supposed to be there.. Gee, is there an echo in the room? Didnt' I just get done saying that exact same thing? He actually had the file there but could not send it in a email because of the size, so I suggested giving him access to one of myservers that I rarely ever use but he had no idea what a ftp program was. Man, what is wrong with these people!!!!!!!!!!! He said that he would just look for it online and send me the link in a email when he found it. Ok, he ended up being 100% worthless.... As I sat there frustrated as all get out, it came to me. I have had success in the past searching on google for the just the file name which in this case was signed-kila-ota-148830.de6a94ca.zip, so I tried that and wouldn't you know it? I got many results that proved successful. I downloaded the file and placed it in the root of the SD card and crossed my fingers as I shut down the phone in a special way. I wathed as these weird characters in yellow writitng zoomed down the page saying unzipping.... installing ........ 18%....... 36%.......... 53%........... 78%........... thinking............
next thing you know, the phone was rebooting with the new updated Android Cupcake 1.5. Success BABY! It was the U.K. version but thats no big deal cuz at this point, I could easily change to the U.S. version if I wanted. When it was all said and done, I wanted to call that Tmobile back and tell them how utterly worthless they were, but I instead just let it go. Is that what you would do at the end of the story to?

So, with a painful and heavy heart, I come today to let you all know if you have not already heard.............. Man, even saying it outloud like this hurts.. Ok, my cell phone (Tmobile G1) was stolen last week at work. :redface: :blowup: After all of this time of bragging on this phone and absolutely loving it, the worst has occured.. I am going to get another one before this month is out but just the thought of having to spend more money on something I already had is so painful. They asked me at Tmobile if I wanted insurance and I really didnt' think at the time that it was necessary, but for the one time that I actually could of used it, I didn't have it.. The wife has been checking out the G1 on craigslist and also http://www.bidaboom.com and they are being won at crazy low prices.. Someone actually just won one for $8.40 brand new last night. Good deal huh? Anyways, I just wanted to share my pain with you all so that you can laugh at me.. Serves me right for braggin on how great this phone is... Get it out of your system. Laugh and Laugh and be done with it.. ABC OUT!

The other day I was needing to get the teamsters local 206 address since I have to pay union dues every month and since I always have to end up looking it up out of our address book, I though to myself, I will just google it and add it to my contacts list in my gmail account and then I will always just have it on hand. I went to maps.google.com and simply typed in Teamsters Local 206, Porltand OR and it immediately brought up this with 7 other results that I never even looked at it because this is exactly what I needed. I quickly added this information into my gmail contact list which syncs automatically with my phone and walla I was good to go... I then got an inkling and decided to see how other online tools would match up so I went to 411.com which is basically a white/yellow pages online search and typed in very specifically Teamsters: Warehousemen's Local Union 206Address: and Portland OR for the City State Criteria. Now you would think this would accurately bring up exactly what I needed wouldnt you? Surprisingly the answer was a huge NO It instead brought up this http://411.yellowpages.com/name/Portland-OR/Teamsters-Warehousemens-Local-Union-206Address?from=411comandsearch_mode=any 1 - 25 of 272 businesses SORT BY: _ Standard _ Distance _ A-Z
Now, teamsters was in there, but I had to wade through pages and pages of crap to find what google brought me instantly and without having to waste half of my life looking through all the crap I had no need for. Just stick with google folks.. :confused:

Ok, this won't be a long post, but just know that I am creating this post from my new Tmobile G1 phone. This is a tribute to how amazing this phone is. Ofcourse Wi-Fi, GPS, full touchscreen capabilities, and Data syncing are standard procedure But what I really love is the open source Android Market for the aps that are always coming out. It makes this phone unique and totally customizable for each user who owns one. More on this later. I think that all of you should comment from your cell phones for this post. That would just be neato. K, have to be running cuz dinner is about ready now.

I got home that night and just jokingly said that I was going to quit because the night was so horrible and I will never forget her exact words...
OK, THEN JUST QUIT....
She was serious and so my mind started to really ponder if all of the frustration and never having a life and seeing my friends and family was worth it.. After hearing those wise words trail off into the sunset from my wife, I decided that we were all done here at Bellagios... :appluase: The next day I gave a notice of a max of 2 weeks but said I wanted to be done A.S.A.P and it turns out I only had to finish up the last week and so now guess what folks... Bad Dining experience

Ok, so this is completely insane... We went to a Mexican restaurant the other day and everything started out just fine when we walked into the place but things went fairly odd once we sat down... Brayden sat down first and I set down next to him in our seat and I immediately noticed that the seat that we were sitting in felt like soft cotton balls combined with rocks. :mad: I moved around and around trying to get comfortable with no avail and so finally when the waiter came to ask us if we were ready, I had to finally say...
"Excuse me Sir, but could you just do me a favor and have a seat here exactly where I am sitting and tell me if you see something wrong here??"
He looked at me with a blank look for a second and then proceeded to sit down... After he saw what I was talking about he explained that a few days ago there were some kids sitting in the seats jumping up and down until they broke springs in the bench seats.... Aaaaaaaaaaah, I C. :bearing_teeth: So here is my only logical question. Why on earth would they with that knowledge willingly have customers sit at that spot in the restaurant??? :stupid: Wouldn't it seem like after realizing that I was completely annoyed, they would maybe have us sit somewhere else? No, that didn't happen at all.. Ofcourse not.. The waiter just proceeded to take our order and instead of me making a huge fuss over the annoyance, I just suffered through it but let me just say this.. I wont be putting up with anything like that again.. Would you?

Samsung_Behold_SGH-T919 These seem to be just alright, but what I really am wanting is this... and I have heard that these I-phones can be unlocked for other providers other than ATandT Has anyone else heard about this and if so, how complicated would it be to apply the I-phone to T-mobile?

Yep, so my My_SQL database for my blog entries just crashed all of the sudden and you would think I would back up my database stuff at some point... :stupid: Nope, I sure didn't... That right.. I am officially stupid, but I will definitely learn from this tragedy... hehe :big_grin:
